Meet the Owner

Hi, I'm Kelli Ortiz, the owner of Ortiz Financial Services!

I was born in southeastern Minnesota and have proudly called Owatonna home for more than 20 years. As a wife and mother of three, my family is my greatest motivation. I want my children to see that with hard work, determination, and a willingness to learn, they can accomplish anything they set their minds to.

When I'm not working, you'll usually find me spending time with my family, caring for our two dogs, or tending to our small flock of chickens and ducks. Life is busy, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

I recently graduated from Minnesota State University-Mankato with a Master's Degree in Accountancy and earned a certificate in Taxation. My passion for accounting comes from helping people feel more confident and less overwhelmed when it comes to keeping track of their finances. I enjoy turning financial chaos into organized, understandable information that helps individuals and business owners make informed decisions.

In addition to bookkeeping and tax preparation, I have served as a Minnesota Notary Public since 2025, offering both mobile and in-office notarization services to clients throughout the area.
